Book a table Events in Kenilworth - The Almanack

Join us at the bar, any weekday, between 5-6pm, to enjoy a taste of Jimmy Butler’s finest sausages. Served alongside planet-saving Rubies in the Rubble ketchup. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

A four day weekend, celebrating The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Becoming the first British Monarch to celebrate 70 years of service – this is a monumentous occasion, and of course, we want to raise a glass.

Join us over the weekend and enjoy Posh Fish & Chips and a glass of English sparking. How British of us!

The perfect excuse for a midweek visit, we’ll be enjoying a pint down the local. From Purity, to Church Farm Brewery, appreciate a well-kept beer and snack on proper British pub grub, celebrating the joy that a pub visit gives. We’ll fill our specials board with Scotch Eggs, Sausage Rolls and Pork Scratching and you’ll find Sausage & Mash and Maple-cured Gammon Egg & Chips for main! See you there.

          Father’s Day

It’s that time of year, when we get to celebrate the important men in our lives. Start the day with a top-notch fry-up, pot of proper Yorkshire tea, or a pint. From noon, it’s all about our delicious roasts, with all the trimmings. Jimmy Butler’s free-range pork, British Aubrey Allen beef, and our hugely popular vegetarian wellington. Always a busy one, so book your table early and keep the whole family happy.

We’ll be closed after lunch today as we head to our annual team party – PeachFest.

We’ll be open as usual on Tuesday 28th June, ready to serve the good stuff, pop in to hear all our stories!

              Wimbledon Season

A sporting date for the diary – and excuse to drink a large G&T, a Pimm’s & Lemonade and enjoy the sweetness of British strawberries and cream!

                Slow & Low Night

For us, slow and low dishes are not about time-saving or getting ahead, but about using skill and patience to coax maximum flavour out of our top-quality seasonal meat and vegetables. Tender braised meats, slow-cooked stews and comfort-food specials. As in the old proverb of the hare and the tortoise, slow and steady definitely wins the race. (Though hare makes a better stew!)

Nackfest is back, for its second year, and we’ve got a weekend full of reasons to visit. Join us from 6pm on Friday for live music in the bar, or settle into our live Jazz Breakfast on Saturday. We’ll have cocktail specials on all day and night, and will turn the party playlist on come late. Sunday is all about a great roast, and Monday beings family fun, so bring the younger ones along for face painting. Pop the date in your diary, and remember to stop by.

                    August Bank Holiday

We’re making the most of the last long weekend of the Summer! Pop down and join us as we enjoy an extra day in the sun our Bank Holiday Best Menu, cocktail in hand. Remember to book a table if you’re joining us for lunch or dinner over the weekend.
