Christmas Bad Jumper Night

    Join us for some Christmas cheer, a sing- a-long and mince pies. Dig out your best (or worst!) Christmas jumper and meet us in the bar. Prizes for the best.

      Christmas Day

      We believe everyone should have Christmas Day off to stuff themselves with turkey before gently nodding off in front of the fire. We’ll be back open on Boxing Day. Merry Christmas.

        Disco Fever

        This New Year’s Eve, we turning back the clock to the 90’s for a real Almanack New Year’s Eve Party. Put on your best dancing shoes, and join us in the bar. DJ Little Tommy will be on the decks from 7pm ’til late. Our buffet is £30pp, charged on the night and there’s no charge if you’re just joining us for drinks. Mine’s a large!

          New Year’s Day

          Open for breakfast from 10am, with Bloody Marys a-plenty and serving our New Year’s Day Best Menu from noon. Full of pub classics alongside delicious roasts; beats being at home cooking!

            Retox Party

            After a month long health kick of no drinking and eating well, it’s time to celebrate with a true Almanack party! We’ll have a DJ in the bar, so make sure you bring your dancing shoes – and as it’s a Friday, it’s half price fizz all night long. See you at the bar.

              Valentine’s Day

              If there’s any date reserved to treat your special someone, it’s 14th February. Join us for dinner and enjoy a delicious sharing dish from our specials board. We’ve also got fantastic selection of fine wines and Champagnes that are guaranteed to win you extra brownie points.

              If a twosome isn’t your thing, we have plenty of larger tables that we won’t be sawing in half for the occasion, so gather a group and join us – we promise we won’t ask any questions. Book online or give us a call.

                Spring Menu Sneak Peek

                As the season changes, so does our menu, so join Ania and Head Chef Matt Foster, for a sneak peek evening before we launch, tasting through our new menu.

                We always serve the good stuff – in Spring that means the earliest and best Hampshire asparagus, day-boat fish hot-foot from Brixham,Yorkshire rhubarb and superb farmhouse cheeses. As the days lengthen and sunshine returns we look forward to sitting outside with a glass of our favourite wine and a plate of something delicious.

                  Mother’s Day

                  We’ll be open as usual for breakfast, so why not change tradition this year and start off with a Buck’s Fizz Breakfast before heading out for the day?

                  We serve up the favourites alongside new classics and always prioritise quality produce. We are serious about our roasts too, so settle in with the family and enjoy top-quality beef from Aubrey Allen, Jimmy Butler’s free-range pork or our delicious vegetarian roast with all the glorious trimmings. Enjoy our Sunday Best Menu alongside delicious specials,  served right through ’til 9pm. Always busy, be sure to book early.

                    Easter Weekend

                    Get the long weekend started on Good Friday, with two for one gins 5pm-7pm, and half price fizz all day and night!

                    Saturday we’ll be having an extended brunch with delicious sharing dishes, 8am-3pm and Easter Sunday is the time to bring the family to the pub for a scrumptious get together. We’ll be serving breakfast as usual and our Sunday Best menu from midday.

                    Easter Monday brings you our Bank Holiday Best Menu, full of pub classics and a roast rollover to cure any hangover. We’ll have the Bloody Marys ready. Booking advised.
